Our client is currently looking for an autonomous, strategical and entrepreneurial person willing to take the challenge of becoming the Senior Industrial Controller, to be based in Barcelona. It’s a great challenge with fantastic conditions
The main purpose of this role will be to ensure the accuracy of all financial effects connected with industrial activities (from raw materials valuation to finished goods), in a SAP environment, of all the facilities of the client.
Major accountabilities of this position are:
- Perform the standard cost calculation process as part of the budgeting process
- Review manufacturing deviations (including those generated in purchasing prices of materials) monthly, identifying the reason of said deviations and report them to CFO and COO.
- Review standard costs quarterly and suggest potential changes.
- Analyse potencial obsolesce risks in inventories and coordinate with Operations and Supply Chain the actions to minimize advers impacts.
- Provide information for the Monthly Report to Riverside, with accuracy (explanation of deviations and future trends) at due time.
- Control of Fixed Assets, creating SAP orders, monitoring the evolution of amounts committed and booked and the status of different projects to ensure the calculate and book accruals at month end to ensure the accuracy of amortizations.
- Collaborate in the monthly closing from a Controlling perspective (BRAD and analysis of deviations (OpEx)).
- Participate in the external financial audit process, add-on projects and other non recurrent projects (ex: pricing project).
And who you’ll be?
We’re looking for a person with the following background:
- Education: University Degree in Economy/ADE or similar
- 8-15 years of experience in a Controlling Department, with a minimum of 3 years of experience as Industrial Controller in SAP environment
- Advanced user of SAP CO to develop his/her function as Industrial Controller
- Fluent English
- Availability to travel, when needed
