GMV has a vacancy for an internship opportunity in the Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) division in the Space and Robotics Business Unit. The student will participate in the maintenance of a GNC and Mission Analysis toolbox under the supervision and expertise of GMV. During the course of the activity, the student will:

- Acquire knowledge of various aspects of space mission design, such as orbital dynamics, on-orbit navigation and guidance by working on a GMV FDS toolbox.
- You will become familiar with the FCS-ATOMIC toolbox that GMV has developed for ESA, identify the main components and gain a general understanding of them and their interfaces.
You will help prepare representative scenarios of interplanetary missions such as Hera, Juventas and Comet Interceptor, among others.
- Perform software validation and verification: After implementation, the engineer must verify and validate his or her design through unit testing and scenario testing.
- You will develop as an engineer in one of the leading European teams in mission analysis, GNC and flight dynamics for interplanetary missions.

- Good technical and analytical capacity to solve challenging engineering problems in an efficient fashion.
- Knowledge on MATLAB, Python or C programming.
- Knowledge of statistical principles
- Fluency in English.
- Autonomous and efficient work ethics with some passion for the interplanetary, trajectory design, and navigation fields
