**Position Summary:
Reporting directly to Production Process Engineer your main duties will be:

- Identify center lining values per format and machine and follow up on its accomplishment.
- Follow up the principal indicators of the line and analyze the cause: rejection rate per machine, decrease O.E.E., breakdown analysis, timings, wastage.
- Identify and make improvement proposals that that attack and eliminate the basic causes of deviations, on the OEE, cost, quality and security.
- Identify external and internal resources needed to solve anomalies.
- Design, develop, configure and optimize industrial manufacturing processes from start to production and certification for new products. Propose and implement improvements in the processes that already exist.
- Technical assistance to suppliers, quality, production, and industrialization.
- Prepare the necessary documentation for the production processes (machine preparation, handling), considering all quality, environmental and occupational risk prevention aspects.
- Participate in the launch of the new initiatives
- Proposing innovative solutions in their projects and keeping up to date the new existing technologies related to the sector.
- Be an active part of the process improvements of the module to get better performance of the machines, facilities, and human resources.
- Manage assigned 80/20 layout projects, 6s project and Model Factory with a variety of stakeholders.
- Perform permanent visual management of the line.
- Ensure standardization with all the operations personnel.
- Support projects to improve safety and preventive culture
- Budget and Investment Management (+5M.€ budget)
- Nurtures an environment consistent with the ITW values and culture.

**Education/Experience**:
Technical
- Engineering degree, mechanical field is a plus or equivalent ITW experience.
- + 2 years’ experience in a similar position within the Industrial sector (desirable automotive) - a proven track record of working on innovative diversified products.
- Knowledge of safety machines/certification CE
- Knowledge of continuous improvement
- Experience with product development process from concept generation to production
- Experience in creating & revising 2D/3D drawings (Solid Works).
- Knowledge of metal materials & coatings (organic, electrolytic)
- Knowledge of APQP, D-FMEA, lessons learned and quality tools
- Demonstrated ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely manner to a wide variety of audiences.

- Understand automotive trends and customer requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with experience in communicating and working across different stakeholders.
- Focused on priorities and simplicity-oriented mindset (80/20 mindset)
- Critical thinking and results oriented
- Understands and applies the ITW Toolbox.
- Proficient English and Spanish is a must

**Work Environment**:
The position is based in our ITW Metal Fasteners facility in Sabadell (Barcelona).
