The business area European Wind and Solar (E) is responsible for development and ownership of wind and solar assets in Europe. The business area is also responsible for the project execution of large projects in Statkraft, the group procurement function and development of new business opportunities.
Descripción del empleo
We are currently looking to recruit a Project Manager, Construction to strengthen the business area’s Project Delivery Unit. The team is responsible for the project execution of large-scale infrastructure renewable projects of onshore wind in Spain. You will be organised and report to the Delivery Director for Wind& Solar in Spain in the line. In projects the reporting line is through The Project Owner Responsible to the Asset owner.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Manage several construction projects in a portfolio or single projects depending on size and complexity, this includes organising, leading, and ensuring effective management and administration of the Project.
- Coordination of project team including external consultants, contractors, and service providers.
- Reporting on projects status to project Owner Representative/management according to company governance.
- The implementation of the Health, Safety and Environmental requirements and ensure HSE monitoring and reporting.
- Ensure and manage planning & environmental permit conditions for the project, including stakeholder management.
- The implementation of anti-corruption prevention and reporting according to The Statkraft Way.
- Ensure internal communication, co-operation, and co-ordination between the different staff members of the Project and with other parties with interface to the Project (Asset Owner, HR and Corporate).
- Ensure efficient and regular project meetings and recording of minutes and agreed actions.
- Ensure the tendering processes for main contracts are performed and completed within the time schedule for the projects.
- Manage the inputs from technical design team to finalize the design of the projects.
- Ensure continuous planning and follow up of cost, time and quality using Statkraft internal tools for, project reporting, safety, contract management, risk management etc.
**Requisitos**:
- Masters, university degree in engineering or relevant field.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in a Wind projects (in Spain or abroad) managing renewable energy development projects with a proven track record of delivering renewable/large scale infrastructure projects through construction.
- Demonstrated experience in the construction processes and environmental assessments of wind, solar, Battery & other renewable energy projects.
- Demonstrated experience of having full responsibility for management of project budgets and schedules from early stage development to construction.
- Strong technical understanding of renewable energy technology with experience of contracts and technical appendices for main technology supply contracts.
- Strong communication skills, and ability to build and manage project teams.
- PMP certification nice to have
- Ability to concisely frame issues by providing context, analysis, recommendations, and risk/benefit, both in written and verbal format to project teams.
- Native in Spanish, fluency in English required
