- A Retail Merchandising Manager to provide expert input to retail merchandising initiatives for the Village, including coordinating brand training programmes and other staff activities, in order to maximise guest interest and sales. Working to and in support of the Group Retail Merchandising Director.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**_Improve store productivity, maintenance, customer service and sales by:_**
- Being the main point of contact between the Retail Merchandising Team and the local Retail Teams on all Visual Merchandising issues, ensuring standards and consistency achieved.
- Developing commercial communication tools and manuals to raise standards in signage and merchandising for window displays and in-store.
- Coordinating the distribution of relevant materials to stores with the local Retail Teams.
- Establishing and managing a calendar for merchandising and window dressing.
- Coordinating the Visual Merchandiser’s visit to all Villages with clear objectives.
- Following up after each Visual Merchandiser’s visit on merchandising reports, pictures, and feedback.
- Organising monthly retail calls, taking and distributing minutes.
- Preparing cross over brand analysis for monthly retail calls.
- Assisting the Director on all promotions, special events, and window display programmes.
- Assisting the Director and Visual Merchandisers in developing guidelines on selling techniques to optimise store turnover.
- Working closely with the Art, Marketing, and Retail Departments on all signage issues to correspond with the Merchandising and Marketing calendars.
- Participating in the induction of new Brands to introduce merchandising and window guidelines along Value Retail standards.
**BACKGROUND & SKILLS**:
- Ability to use initiative, pre-empt requests, and think ahead.
- Ability to prioritise and manage several tasks simultaneously, with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent computer skills.
- Knowledge of principles for promoting and selling products.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for fashion and understanding of current market trends.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
- Degree educated
- Business language is English but fluency in any other European language desirable
