Assisting Casualty Operations Management with day to day leadership of a Underwriting Assistants team that provides services to a variety of stakeholders by acting as the primary point of contact from an operational perspective.

The main mission of the role will be to provide high quality administrative services to Casualty Business we support as Operations.

What will your essential responsibilities include?
- Ensure that both individual & corporate targets related to Operations Casualty are met.
- Lead a team of up to 10 individuals while fostering continuous engagement, motivation, and development of the team.
- Keep excellent customer relationships with all key stakeholders, internal and external.
- Introduce, develop & document improvements to gain efficiency and simplification.
- Participate and assist with leadership in strategic projects.
- Ensure all team members follow relevant procedures and are compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Act as effective deputy for Operations Management or Team Lead for other lines of business, as may be required.

We’re looking for someone who has these qualifications and skills:

- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Bachelor Degree preferred in law or business.
- Underwriting procedures knowledge and senior experience: Know underwriting processes, arbitrate handling the complexity of situations; assess and take risks.
- Risk Assessment: Identify, analyze and assess customer specific risks; assess fraud risk and other risks; monitor risk taken by the company; visit / video assessment of insured element.
- Digital agility & tools: Knowledge of the functionality of systems including strong technical skills with Microsoft Office and other relevant systems
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills combined with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to respond to a changing environment with flexibility and innovation and to be a role model for collaboration throughout integration an onwards into the future.
- Ability to lead in accordance with AXA XL’s Core Values and Culture.

OneAXA
- Promote an One AXA engagement model with the AXA Entities operating in Spain, share best practice
- Co-Responsible for the local governance and monitoring of local synergies and boundaries
- Training/support for local people on how best to leverage OneAXA entities
- Coordinate and support revenue synergies and One AXA client experience within the country
- Escalation & Troubleshooting
