We are searching for a **DevSecOps** who is passionate about all things security and wants to make an impact on our organisation.

Our DevSecOps are an integral part of our cross-functional teams and are responsible for technical security concerns, AppSec, Security Operations and security incident response. As a DevSecOps your focus is on helping secure our infrastructure, while being exposed to the whole development lifecycle from architecture and design to production. You will have the unique opportunity of having an impact all across Preply, supporting our mission.

We release our product 50-60 times per day by leveraging technologies like Kubernetes (Skaffold+Helm), Docker and top-notch CI/CD processes. **As a DevSecOps you will**:
You will work in a cross-functional team and collaborate closely with our DevOps and SRE teams to strengthen our infrastructure's security posture. You will be customer-focused and make pragmatic technical decisions that balance speed of delivery with quality and maintainability.

You will focus on being an enabler, and make informed decisions based on costs and benefits of our risk analysis. You'll be encouraged to work on those items you're passionate about, and will grow as a professional by learning everyday when working alongside our different teams.

**Some of your **concerns** will be**:

- Helping us Secure our cloud infrastructure, follow best practices and architectural guidelines and ensuring we think about security in a proactive manner.
- Improving the robustness of the access to our internal infrastructure.
- Work on improving the security of our Kubernetes deployment, suggesting and implementing improvements.
- Help us with our secrets management.

**Who are you?**:

- You have significant AWS and Kubernetes experience, or have had enough experience on them to be able to dig further within the role.
- You are comfortable with developing and the development lifecycle.
- Experience in Security is valued, but we can help you get there, if you want to make the step from a DevOps position.
- You're comfortable working with other teams and making your case.
- You're fun to work with and bring a positive attitude to any problems we might face.
- You're a team player.
- You are, over all, looking forward to help secure Preply.
