**OBJECTIVE**:
As part of the Engineering team, the Mechanical Engineer participates in the development and specification of new products, or in the improvement of existing products to improve its competitiveness

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:- Starting from conceptual or detailed engineering design, develop 3D models and 2D drawings, specifications, and solutions for mechanical hardware and production tools based on established engineering guidelines.
- Search for suitable suppliers, request quotes, and track orders to suppliers for product manufacturing.
- Develop and take part in product prototyping, including management of manufacturing resources.
- Support in the industrialization of the product through: Development of assembly and testing processes, as well as the necessary devices and any other documentation required for engineering and production, list of materials, assembly procedures, tools, consumables, etc.
- Creates and maintains documentation related to the product and its processes:
Assembly instructions, product manuals, and manufacturing instructions.
- Continually searches to improve methods, processes, and product performance to
improve product competitivity.

**KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**:- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience developing similar functions
- Advanced level in CAD and PLM tools, like PTC Creo / Windchill or similar software.
- Experience in positioning systems and mechatronics.

**OTHER SKILLS**:- Knowledge about manufacturing by CNC machining, sheet metal, and plastic casting.
- Familiar with industry engineering standards, like tolerances and GD&T.
- Knowledge about product quality and testing processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluent in English and local language.
