For our IT EMEA Hub for Pharma in Barcelona we are hiring an IT Architect to strengthen the global Digital Transformation & IT - Pharma organization.

The IT Architect translates the Pharma Strategy and IT Strategy into technology solutions to delivery of better business outcomes. Consequently, the IT architect drives change that creates business opportunities through technology innovation and architecture. The IT Architect provides insights, advice, partners with business and technology leaders to ensure that created solutions meet business goals. The IT Architect ensures that the IT solutions are designed for production in a GxP environment, can be delivered in a secure, compliant, efficient way and allow for re-use.

**Your tasks & responsabilities**:

- Contribution to business prioritization, direct strategic roadmap planning and optimization, portfolio management, and product management activities.
- Selection, champion and provide advice for strategic themes like cloud native transformation, AI, DevOps, microservices, IoT the company could benefit from.
- Forecasting the potential outcomes of technology decisions and weigh them against business value and risk factors.
- Creating architectural artifacts (reference architectures, blueprints, policies, guidelines etc.) and oversee implementation and delivery, including qualification and computer system validation.
- Creating roadmaps for IT landscape/parts of it based on the IT Strategy and aligned with business needs.
- Taking data-driven decisions to ensure creation of measurable business outcomes.

**Who you are**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science, Pharma, or other related field.
- Expert in state-of-the-art and emerging technologies, and specifically the opportunities and risks they bring.
- Profound knowledge and experience in agile and lean methodologies as well as Enterprise Architecture Frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience with compliance regulatory for pharma sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations and to drive actions.
- Ability to convince teams to test out new processes and methods regularly.
- Hands on experience with one or more cloud environments: AWS, GCP, Azure.
- Experience in SalesForce, Collibra, Reltio is be an asset.
- Proven ability to grow relationships with key partners and suppliers.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
