**What you’ll do**:
The Global Privacy team, part of the Legal organisation, is spearheading a transformation in the way people’s data is used. We aim to level up in maturity over the next few years, and we need smart and solution-oriented people to create a team to drive this.

As a Privacy lawyer/Counsel, you´ll work closely with colleagues in our privacy, procurement, HR and advertising functions to create, implement and drive the supplier risk management process across the organisation.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Develop both Privacy/legal knowledge and digital capabilities, always striving to learn from both regulatory and industry developments and contribute to shaping and iterating the privacy strategy
Act as the key point of contact for relevant business teams (primarily Procurement, HR, Advertising) for any Privacy related queries, issues or concerns
Review triage assessments performed as part of our supplier management process, and advise Procurement/ buyers from the business on the inherent risks associated with given suppliers
Where required, liaise and/or negotiate directly with suppliers or Adevinta teams on contractual provisions within the Data Protection Agreements (DPAs)
Work closely with our Legal colleagues, to develop and maintain an effective contract management system which includes an up to date repository of DPAs and handle contractual amendments due to changes in international transfers of personal data
Work closely with our Public Affairs team, to respond to requests for consultation from EU policy makers in the creation of new regulatory guidance and/or legislation
Where necessary, attend industry or trade body forums/committees to represent Adevinta and contribute to industry initiatives or policy making

This role can be located in any of our Adevinta hubs (Barcelona, Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris) with preference for Barcelona because it is where the current team is located.
