About the Role:
As a Senior Specialist in IT Infrastructure & Operations, you will take on a key role in sustaining the effectiveness of our technical infrastructure. Your efforts will directly support our system's performance and security, ensuring that our business operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will also contribute to significant team projects and improvements.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead the installation and configuration of new hardware and software.
- Conduct advanced network troubleshooting and system diagnostics.
- Actively monitor and optimize system performance.
- Oversee and refine technical documentation and inventory management processes.
- Coordinate and perform comprehensive backup and recovery operations.
- Perform and evaluate in-depth security audits and compliance checks.
- Lead in server maintenance and capacity planning tasks.
- Implement significant system upgrades and performance improvements.
- Provide high-level user support and training.
- Lead small to mid-size infrastructure projects and initiatives.
**Skills**:
- Advanced Technical Support: High proficiency in troubleshooting and solving complex IT issues.
- System Optimization: Expertise in monitoring, tuning, and optimizing system performance.
- Technical Documentation Management: Advanced capability in maintaining detailed and accurate technical records.
- Complex Network Management: Strong skills in managing and troubleshooting advanced network configurations.
- Data Protection: Proficiency in sophisticated backup, recovery, and data protection practices.
- Security Protocols: Advanced knowledge of security measures and practices.
- Project Coordination: Skills in leading and managing technical projects with multiple stakeholders.
- User Training: Effective communication and training abilities to help users optimize their use of IT resources.
- Service Operations: Understanding of ITIL v3/v4 frameworks for service delivery and operations management.
- Operating Systems: Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server and Linux for system administration and security management.
- Network: Ability to configure and troubleshoot network devices like switches, routers, load balancers, and firewalls, and experience in resolving network issues.
- Cloud Platforms: Professional certifications in Microsoft Azure or AWS are required or must be obtained within the first year of employment

- Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in primary technical job family and knowledge of related technical job families; has worked with a range of technologies
- Has knowledge of best practices and aware of the competition and market differentiators
