**The opportunity**
A&M in Europe has, in recent years, strengthened its Restructuring presence in Financial Restructuring, Corporate Transformation and Insolvency by recruiting high-profile teams at Managing Director / Partner level to complement the Company-side Restructuring advisory team. The Restructuring group is growing ambitiously across the European region and further afield and is successfully generating work at a rapid pace. As a result, we are now seeking a Managing Director to focus on Operational Restructuring & Corporate Transformation, and to contribute to our existing A&M practice in Spain. A&M is one of the fastest growing Advisory firms in Spain and we have worked on some of the largest cross-border corporate restructuring and transformation projects in the Iberian region.

Specifically, the MD will:

- **Execute the vision and direction for the continuing build out of the Spanish Restructuring practice including: building a robust yet flexible plan to generate deal flow of EUR 3-5 million per annum and develop a sustainable business. The successful appointee will be an expert in selling and delivering advisory assignments in addition to interim assignments**:

- **Attracting and developing a group of experienced professionals to drive growth, in addition to quickly assimilating and leveraging existing capability at A&M**:

- **Coordinating across the broader A&M in Europe and globally in areas such as portfolio development and key account management, drawing together the industry and functional expertise needed to serve our clients**:

- **Grow A&M’s practice through strengthening its Spanish business, broadening routes to market, leveraging senior relationships in the lending and restructuring communities and working with the European partnership group**:

- **Lead delivery of projects with companies in financial/liquidity crisis or in need of transformation to assess opportunities to improve their financial / operating performance and implement findings and recommendations**:
**CORE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**:

- **A significant and well-developed senior network across the Spanish banking and Board level communities**:

- **Demonstrable and successful experience within a Lender advisory, Debtor advisory or Financial Restructuring professional services team**:

- **Proven track record of delivering restructuring and transformation projects in the Spanish marketplace**:

- **Experience of working with multiple stakeholders within both lenders and corporates in challenging situations**:

- **Able to demonstrate a successful track record in converting business contacts and leads into sustainable, profitable revenue streams**:

- **Well developed financial skills that may include an accountancy qualification can be advantageous**:
