Senior Installation and Commissioning Engineer

We are looking for an Installation and Commissioning engineer for a high-end home automation and security company in Ibiza. This senior engineer not only understands what home automation is, but also how important our customers are. You will be working at several unique locations at Ibiza, but also sometimes at other destinations and with unique customers. An opportunity of a life time.

**Salary and hours per week**:

- Salary: Depending on experience, between € 3.500;
- and € 4.000,
- 32-40 hours a week
- Flexible schedule (sometimes also weekends/evenings)
- Start: As soon as possible

We are not only active in the Netherlands, but also in Spain, France, England, Dubai and who knows what else will come. We are responsible for all automation within our projects. Think of security, audio, blinds, video and temperature. Our customers are our number one priority and customer satisfaction is our most important core value. Our team is close-knit and familiar, despite the fact that we regularly work in different locations around the world. Yet we know where to find each other for an outing or (digital) Friday afternoon drink and snack. You can always contact a colleague or one of the two directors for help and questions.

**A working day with us**

The sun is already shining as soon as you leave home towards the office. Together with colleagues in the Netherlands, we are doing a digital week start while enjoying a cup of coffee in the sun. This way everyone knows what everyone is doing that week and how they can support each other. Then you leave for your project together with a colleague technician. You are just installing the palm scanner when you get a call from the director. One of the main customers has called that the music is not working. You hand over your work to your colleague and go to the customer. You greet the important customer with a confident broad smile. You quickly manage to tackle the problem and head back to your project while leaving a happy customer behind. It is now 13:30 and time for a nice lunch in the sun. The afternoon is peaceful and you have time to teach your colleague something new. At the end of the afternoon the project manager calls you to see how far you are and then it is time to go home. But you are not going home yet, because you are in Ibiza. So you drive to the terrace near the beach where you order a nice cold drink and you open your laptop to prepare some things for the next day. You know by now that you should always have your swimming trunks and towel with you on the island, so you quickly change your clothes for a wonderful dip in the sea. After that you went home satisfied where the barbecue is already burning for a nice dinner.

**Your profile**

As an installation and commissioning engineer you are responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining advanced network infrastructures and home automation systems for residential and commercial customers. You ensure seamless integration of technologies that contribute to comfort, efficiency and safety in buildings. You know exactly how all the technology works and can get started independently with an assignment from us or the customer. In this position you are primarily responsible for unburdening the customer. You do this from sunny Ibiza. You already live here or are willing to move here.

You know exactly what needs to be done that day and all that week and you have planned ad-hoc time for yourself for possible escalations from other customers. You are flexible and know that these escalations sometimes happen in the evening or at the weekend. This is not a problem for you and it gives you energy to provide excellent customer service at any time of the week and day.

You are able to stick to a schedule and also to help colleagues with your experience and knowledge. You see this as a challenge and not as a burden. You also like to think along with the company and the customer and always strive for the best result. You dare to provide feedback to others and you are also able to receive feedback.

**Required technical knowledge**:

- At least a completed technical education;
- Exce
