Environmental Coordinator

**Your role**

Based in our plant in l’Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona), as a part of the
**Central Quality & Environmental Team** and directly reporting to the Quality & Environmental Director of Affinity, we are looking for a new position as a Environmental Coordinator.

We offer to be part of a growing team in a newly created position and collaborate with the other departments (Industrial, Sustainability, Purchasing).

We are looking for a person who is eager to learn, to build systems and procedures to help the team and to be flexible, dynamic and proactive.

**What you** will** do**
- Coordinate and oversee environmental operations to ensure regulatory compliance and permit renewals.
- Ensure that industrial operations are in compliance with local, state & EU changing regulations.
- Perform regular site inspections for environment compliances (4 sites among Europe).
- Stay updated with new developments in environmental policies and regulations.
- Assess potential environmental risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Work with cross-functional teams to maintain environmental management and monitoring programs.
- Identify areas of improvements to reduce environmental impacts and wastes.
- Prepare clear documents for environmental management operations.
- Develop hazard control programs to reduce contaminations and incidents.
- Collect, centralize and harmonize Environmental KPIs. Launch CAPA as appropriate.
- Connect externally with Environmental sectorial associations at different level.

**What we are looking for**
- Degree in Environmental Sciences (or Chemical Degree with Master in Environment)
- Experience in Environmental Management (Minimum 5 years)
- English fluent
- Dynamic person with management capabilities
- Communication, planning and leadership skills.
- Empathy and Team work
