Turnaround Mechanical Planner

Aligned to Turnarounds (Mechanical area), creates job packages from the work order scope which contains all of the information regarding required labor material and services to ensure safe, effective and efficient execution of the work. Requires full proficiency in a range of technical, operational, or analytical/scientific processes and procedures through job-related training and considerable on the job experience to perform a variety of work assignments. Acts as an informal resource for team members with less experience. Supervises in the field during the execution of turnarounds ensuring a safe, quality and timely execution. Responsible of the planning team for turnarounds, overviewing contractor planners. Ensures planner services provided by contractor companies fulfill contract requirements in relation to quantity and quality of the job done as well as ensures Dow work process are followed. Supports Turnaround Coordinators in different tasks aligned to the Turnaround Work Process.

**Responsibilities / Duties**:

- Enables the people who manage and/or perform work in the Turnarounds with the tools and information needed to perform their job effectively and efficiently.
- Requires full proficiency in a range of technical, operational, or analytical/scientific processes and procedures through job-related training and considerable on the job experience to perform a variety of work assignments.
- Looks for opportunities to optimize planning tasks or leads improvement implementation in planning.
- Acts as an informal resource for team members with less experience.
- Supervises in the field during the execution of turnarounds ensuring a safe, quality and timely execution
- Responsible of the planning team for turnarounds, overviewing contractor planners. Ensures planner services provided by contractor companies fulfill contract requirements in relation to quantity and quality of the job done as well as ensures Dow work process are followed.
- Supports Turnaround Coordinators in different tasks aligned to the Turnaround Work Process.

**Experience**:

- Minimum Ciclo Grado Superior in any Mechanical industry technical area.
- 5 year or more experience in Mechanical Turnaround Planning and/or mechanical field supervision in Chemical Industry.
- It is key to have a good English level.
