**Here’s what we’ll do together**:
We are looking for an **HR Generalist **who will be based in the Valencia office. This role will manage all HR related topics **in** **France **and partly Spain. We are a fun and diverse team with various nationalities and personalities. Our great HR team works hard to make our business feel supported in their daily operations and in their development within G-STAR.
As our always-in-control HR Generalist, you’ll be in charge of making sure our HR operations in France and partly Spain run smoothly. Your glass is always half full and you know how to set your daily priorities. In the core processes of people hiring, developing and leaving, you are the go-to-person to ensure that everything is finalized perfectly down to the last detail.
You’ll do this by managing our HR systems, Daywize and Quinyx. And of course, you will be the first point of contact for all our colleagues in France with HR related questions and for our expats to guide them through the French employment conditions and regulations.
To ensure our people always get paid on time - our upmost priority - you will provide Payroll with the always up-to-date info. You will take care of all relevant documents, statements and track, process and keep an eye on the different kinds of leaves and absence.
**Your tasks & responsibilities**:
- Prepare employee documentation in core processes for hiring, terminations, promotions and other contract changes,
- Manage employee records by initiating processes and handling tasks in our HR systems, Daywize and Quinyx, ensuring that all processes are completed before the payroll deadline,
- Deliver a complete and accurate overview of the monthly changes to the payroll department,
- Act as a first point of contact for HR policy and HR system related questions for employees and the managers,
- Perform other frequently occurring administrative and/or operational HR tasks, such as managing leave balances, preparing employer statements,
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives, taking into account your personal learning goals and interests,
- Proactively seek for opportunities to optimize our HR processes and services and to optimize the use of our HR system.
**Here's what you bring to the table**:
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in **both French and English** - and perhaps Spanish?
- Beyond your various challenging tasks and responsibilities, you’re always able to see the bigger picture and give suggestions to make things better.
- You are a fun and empathic team player, but you are also able to quickly work independently.
- You are accurate, detail-oriented and organized. You have excellent time management abilities.
- You are process-oriented but are also flexible when the needs of the business change.
- You have knowledge on French labor law.
- You want to further develop as an all-round HR professional.
- Add a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree, preferably in Human Resources, and 1-3 years of relevant experience in a similar position, then you’ve got our full attention.
