The CBTC subsystem controls and protects the movement of trains in a railway to avoid hazardous situations while keeping a high grade of automation. Trainguard MT is the portfolio solution of SIEMENS to implement the state-of-the-art CBTC technology.
The role offers you the possibility to work in an international and multidisciplinary engineering team, facing challenging projects both in the national and international markets. Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Project requirements analysis at CBTC sub-system level.
- Preparation of specific technical documentation according to the requirements of the project and / or applicable regulations.
- Creation and review of interface specification between CBTC and other subsystems and rolling stock.
- Creation of project specific documentation regarding CBTC (track parameters, track map, etc.).

- Experience in a Rail Signaling business
- Advanced capabilities in data analysis by use of Microsoft Excel, including VBA.
- Experience in Requirements Management and tools such as DOORS.
- Knowledge of railway CENELEC standards and V-life Cycle models
- Availability to travel.
- Experience in international projects and ability to work with teams based in several countries.
- Ability to work in teams, good communication skills and a results-oriented approach.
- Fluent written and spoken English & Spanish.
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Engineering, e.g. Industrial, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Telecommunications, Computer Science, etc.
