**Job Overview**

As a **Mechanical Engineer** at Packfeeder, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of high-performance mechanical and robotic packaging solutions. You’ll be responsible for creating detailed models, conducting engineering analyses, and ensuring manufacturing excellence while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Your expertise in materials, quality control, and compliance will drive product reliability and innovation. With a strong focus on efficiency, precision, and sustainability, you’ll play a key role in delivering cutting-edge industrial machinery to the global market.

**What You’ll Do**:
**Design & Development** - Create and refine **mechanical designs and 3D models** using CAD software, developing prototypes and conducting performance testing.
**Engineering Analysis** - Perform **stress, strain, thermal, and structural** analyses to ensure reliability, durability, and efficiency.
**Manufacturing Support** - Optimize manufacturing processes, **select materials, improve methods**, and collaborate closely with production teams for seamless implementation.
**Project Management** - Oversee **timelines, budgets, and resources**, coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones.
**Quality Assurance** - Implement **quality control standards**, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with specifications and industry regulations.
**Technical Documentation** - Prepare detailed **design specifications, user manuals, and maintenance guides** for internal and external use.
**Compliance & Sustainability** - Ensure adherence to **industry standards, regulations, and safety codes**, while integrating sustainability best practices where possible.

**What You Bring**:
✔ **Bachelor’s Degree** in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
✔ **5+ years of experience** in mechanical design, engineering, or manufacturing.
✔ Advanced proficiency in **CAD software** (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
✔ Strong analytical skills, **problem-solving mindset**, and attention to detail.
✔ Expertise in **manufacturing processes and materials science**.
✔ Solid project management and organizational abilities.
✔ **Fluent in English and Spanish** with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
✔ Experience in **quality control and assurance**.
