**TASKS**

Based in Barcelona, we offer you the opportunity to join a professional and dynamic team, and to face the challenge of our growth together.

As an Accounting Manager BENELUX, you will be part of the “General Accounting” team that is in charge of:
**Activity 1**:Manage the General Ledger, including timely and accurate monthly closings, the review of account balances and the reconciliation of accounts. Monthly BS reconcile of all North companies.

**Activity 2**:Participation on monthly closing of the subsidiaries, such as the calculation of provisions and closing checks (intercompany balances, etc.). Keep accounts balances clean.

**Activity 3**:Identify and manage the implementation of procedural changes designed to improve internal controls, departmental efficiency and/or report quality.

**Activity 4**:Staff, manage and develop direct and indirect reports, developing individual staff and organizational capability.

**Activity 5**:Coordinate with external firm for preparing and checking the VAT accuracy in order to be compliant with the Fiscal administration and preparation of annual accounts.

**Activity 6**:Manage payments reconciliation and prepare some payments (travel expenses and VAT, taxes)Handle the fixed assets of the entities in North perimeter.

**Activity 7**:Report accounting closings of the subsidiaries and preparation of the Reporting to Group (IFRS).

**Activity 8**:Manage the external audit and tax advisors, ensuring all necessary reconciliations prepared upon arrival of the auditors, and providing needed schedules and documents for audit and tax purposes.

**MUST HAVE skills**

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or economics.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.

Experience in financial audit is a plus (Big4 preferred).
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and SAP and/or S/4HANA.
- Fluent English and French.Ability to work proactively, strong team-working skills with ability to work independently.
- Ability to adapt him/herself to work in a fast-paced environment.
