We are now recruiting for a new Global Category Leader - Market Research, in our Insights and Customer Care Procurement team based in Madrid, Spain

**Your purpose -**

**Your ‘day to day’ -**
- In close collaboration with business Stakeholders, you will create Global Procurement Category Strategy
- You will establish right level of Partnership with business stakeholders to ensure Procurement early involvement and valuable participation in Business strategy preparation
- You will partner with Global Insights teams to materialize value for money, innovations, AI opportunities etc.
- You will build key operational and strategic decisions with data driven insights to ensure best category performance
- You will conduct global negotiations with global suppliers to ensure effective and efficient business support with the Market analysis
- You will support Regions/Markets with guidance, understanding big picture and WOW within category
- You will research industry trends, and, understanding methodologies and techniques, will identify ways to optimize the costs of service
- You will control demand management process for the category, including demand collection, forecasting and monitoring, providing relevant inputs to Finance within OB/RF cycles etc.
- You will develop/re-consider a pool of global service providers to support an end-to-end strategy deployment
- Together with Business Stakeholders you will conduct reviews to evaluate suppliers’ performance, and the success of service provided.
- You will build an effective governance framework with key suppliers including guidelines, standardized processes, forms and formats

**Who we’re looking for -**
- 5+ years’ experience in Procurement and proven experience working in complex, international organisations.
- Strategic thinking and ability to independently manage global category
- Strong Partnering and influencing skills
- Excellent communication capabilities in English, both oral & written
- Preferably proven experience working in a primary market research company as a researcher or consultant, with expertise in designing and implementing research methodologies, analysing data, and providing strategic insights
- Proficiency in cost modelling specific to this category, with a thorough understanding of major cost drivers and their impact
- Experience in complex negotiations
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and complexity
- Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and business needs
- Problem solving skills
- Proven list of measurable achievements in previous roles
