**British American Tobacco Iberia has an exciting opportunity for a Legal Intern**in Madrid**

As a member of the Legal department you will be involved in the day to day legal issues and decisions of the company. You will help to ensure that the company acts lawfully given the strict local legislation, particularly, focused on the company´s compliance programs, in aspects such as competition, marketing, internal policy compliance, trademarks and regulatory issues.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Help to secure the implementation of compliance, marketing, commercial and corporate programs.
- Collaboration in regulatory matters with different national and international administrations.
- Provide professional legal services in line with the company's commercial and digital strategy.
- Provide accurate legal advice in all matters in accordance with the market’s needs.
- Actively contribute and report to all aspects of transaction, business, strategy, governance and compliance of the company.
- Provide proactive and solution-oriented legal advice and guidance to colleagues in regional business sectors and corporate functions.
- Comply and implement activities in accordance with the rules of laws and regulations relating to environmental protection, safety at work and fire protection, and internal EHS standards and procedures BAT group

**What are we looking for?**
- One/two similar internships.
- Proactive and well organized.
- Good skills to influence and communicate.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office pack.
- Degree in Law.
- Master’s Degree is an asset.
- Advanced knowledge of English (written and spoken).
- Advanced knowledge of Spanish (written and spoken).
