**IT Architect**

**Global Job purpose**

The IT Architect translates the Pharma Strategy and IT Strategy into technology solutions to delivery of better business outcomes. Consequently, the IT security architect drives change that creates business opportunities through technology innovation and a secure, reliable and strengthened architecture. The IT Architect provides insights, thought leadership and advice, partners with business and technology leaders to ensure that created solutions meet business goals. The IT Architect ensures that the IT solutions are designed for production in a GxP environment, can be delivered in a secure, compliant, efficient way and allow for re-use. The IT Security Architect owns initiatives related to security of the Product Platform that includes especially Infrastructure, Data and GxP requirements.

**Major tasks and responsibilities**
- Join a strategic analytics platform (Azure based) product team act as Security Engineer and Architect:

- Liaising closely with any development, especially DevOps Engineers and operational roles
- Ownership of efforts related to the securing of infrastructure and data
- Pro-actively drive and own vulnerability management and patching policies
- Play a key role in the security incident response process
- Responsible for steering security related Hot Fix Releases
- Assess security tools and integrate tools as needed
- Develop security related code and support integration of security related automation tools in existing DevOps tool chains
- Furthermore
- Be responsible to design scalable and flexible data model and a modern data architecture that fulfills complex business and data science needs
- Select, champion, and provide advice for strategic themes like cloud native transformation, AI, DevOps, microservices, IoT the company could benefit from.
- Forecast the potential outcomes of technology decisions and weigh them against business value and risk factors
- Create architectural artifacts (reference architectures, blueprints, policies, guidelines etc.) and oversee implementation and delivery, including qualification and computer system validation.
- Create roadmaps for IT landscape/parts of it based on the IT Strategy and aligned with business needs
- Take data-driven decisions to ensure creation of measurable business outcomes

**Qualifications**
- Strong experience with cloud architecture (Azure, AWS)
- Expert in state-of-the-art and emerging technologies, and specifically the opportunities and risks they bring
- Expert/Profound Knowledge of Cyber Security and Defense, especially with regards to Cloud architecture, network security, Firewall, Intrusion Detection and System Hardening
- Profound knowledge and experience in agile and lean methodologies as well as EA Frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations and to drive actions
- Ability to convince teams to test out new processes and methods regularly
- Wide experience in orchestrating programs across different functional organizations and allocating resources to ensure continual engagement
- Proven ability to grow relationships with key partners and suppliers
- Fluent in English
