Operations IT is a global IT capability supporting the Global Operations organisation. We business partner with Operations capability areas: Pharmaceutical Technology Development, Manufacturing & Global Engineering, Quality Control, Sustainability, Supply Chain, Logistics and Global External Sourcing and Procurement. We operate out of Operations hub sites including in the UK, Sweden, US, and China; and out of our Global Technology Centres in India and Mexico.

**POSITION OVERVIEW**

We are recruiting a Senior Business Analyst to join our Data, Analytics & AI group for Operations IT covering all business areas in the Global Operations organisation.

As a Business Analyst specializing in Data, Analytics and AI, you will be at the forefront of driving our company's strategic initiatives by leveraging data insights, analytics solutions, and AI technologies. This role demands a blend of business analysis, data architecture, and project management skills, with a strong focus on delivering solutions through both Waterfall and Agile methodologies. You will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that data strategies effectively support operational goals in drug development, manufacturing, and supply chain operations.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Engage with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and objectives, translating these into comprehensive data and AI-driven solutions.
- Develop and maintain data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) and manage data flow to ensure that data architecture supports business requirements.
- Lead master data management (MDM) and reference data management (RDM) initiatives to promote data integrity and standardization across the enterprise.
- Facilitate the design and implementation of analytics and AI solutions, overseeing the project lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and evaluation.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure the technical feasibility of business solutions, advocating for the use of best practices in data governance, quality, and lifecycle management.
- Drive the adoption of analytics and AI across the organization, providing training and support to enhance data literacy and utilization of data-driven insights for decision-making.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data analytics, AI technologies, and project management methodologies to continuously improve our strategies and solutions.

**YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business analysis, specifically within data, analytics, and AI projects, including a strong background in data architecture, MDM, and RDM.
- Strong knowledge in data warehousing, data lakes, ETL processes, and data integration techniques.
- Strong understanding and experience in master data and reference data management, including the development and implementation of governance models.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen analytical mindset capable of translating complex data into actionable business insights.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, capable of translating complex data concepts into understandable business terms.
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry’s data requirements and regulatory standards is highly desirable.
