**YOUR TASKS**:

- Enzyme Engineering: Utilize the insights from genomic data to design and optimize enzymes for enhanced performance.
- Collaboration: Work in tandem with molecular biologists, data scientists, and other enzyme engineers to integrate findings to spot microgravity associations in biological material and data.
- Genomic Data Analysis: Analyze genomic data provided by data scientists and identify potential features associated with enzyme efficiency, specificity, and stability.
- Database Management: Create and maintain a database of genomic features related to enzyme functions, ensuring ease of access and analysis.
- Trend Analysis & Continuous Learning: Monitor ongoing research in the field to identify emerging trends and incorporate relevant findings into the engineering process. Stay updated with advancements in both enzyme engineering and genomic data analysis fields.
- Documentation: Maintain rigorous documentation of analysis procedures, results, and engineered enzyme variants.
- Presentation: Communicate complex genomic data insights to stakeholders in a comprehensible manner.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all genomic data handling and enzyme engineering activities adhere to regulatory and safety guidelines.
- Innovation: Propose innovative strategies and methodologies to further enhance the enzyme design process based on genomic data.

**WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED**:

- Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Genomics, Biotechnology, or related field.
- Track record in engineering enzymes.
- Proficiency with bioinformatics tools and databases.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
