**Site Contracts Lead**
Location: Madrid (office based / hybrid) or Spain (home-based)
With KCR's business growth, we a relooking for a Site Contracts Lead to join our Full Service CRO Trial Execution Services team. The Site Contracts Lead will drive and manage the site contracting and negotiation strategy for portfolio of KCR studies. The Site Contracts Lead establishes strategy and participates in realization of all aspects related to site contracting and site investigator budgets according to contracted scope, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Good Clinical Practices (GCPs), International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) guidelines and local laws and regulations.
**The main responsibilities of the Site Contracts Lead will involve**:
- Support project management in scope of site contracting
- Support more junior team members with complex site contracting issues
- Develop, implement and monitor contracting practices and procedures; and support process integration across various KCR teams
- Oversee and manage sites contracting (initial site contracts & amendments) process at all stages of a project from award to site closure. Serve as an effective communication liaison between site contracts staff and internal and external customers
- Develop and implement strategies and agenda with Sponsors and KCR internal teams prior to sites contract negotiation
- Work closely with KCR Legal team to harmonize site contract to reflect sponsor's master service agreement terms
- Create templates and drafts to negotiate and finalize contracts, including but not limited to country level Confidentiality Agreements, Amendments, Clinical Trial Agreements, Service Agreements with medical centers
- Ensure that country level budget is reviewed by Project Manager, has the right structure/content and is approved by Sponsor before its distribution to Site Contracts Specialists, country level RCOS team members, sites
- Contribute to the development of the site investigator budget(s), ensuring that each site investigator budget has the right structure/content and is approved by Sponsor before its distribution to Site Contracts Specialists, country level RCOS team members, sites
**Your background**:
- University degree (Legal background preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in global site contracting
- Strong understanding of commercial contracting principles and legal terms and conditions
- Solid experience in developing and negotiating site contracts and creating legal language negotiation parameters with Sponsors
- Strong experience in developing and negotiating site investigator budgets and creating site investigator budget negotiation parameters with Sponsors
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
