Key job responsibilities
- Hiring and developing talent
- Define a strategy for solutions that speed implementation and maximize reuse
- Synthesize a range of industry and partner inputs, and technology trends to define a roadmap of feature and cost competitive products
- Develop clear business requirements that inform product architecture and technical specifications
- Proactively identify and address technical or business obstacles to achieving our scaling goals
- Engage with partners and top brands to support adoption of Fire TV solutions
- Evaluate vendor technology roadmaps and engage with strategic vendors to evangelize Amazon roadmap requirements
- Work with business development and other product and engineering leaders to analyze new business opportunities and to drive product prioritization
- Own programs end-to-end, delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment
A day in the life
No two days will be the same, but you will have fun, learn something new, and innovate and delight our customers, every day. Be it at ideation or at launch, you will be leading activities that will keep you connected with the most important person, our customers. This could mean defining a vision, working on PR/FAQs or identifying ways to delight our customers by looking at customer feedback. You could be working with our internal partners (engineering, commercial, PR) to make product/design decisions, or with our external partners (brands) to launch these products.

The Fire TV Devices is an entrepreneurial team that operates at scale and delivers innovative products customers love Our team focuses on working with the world’s leading brands to bring bar raising Fire TV experiences everywhere, be it Smart TV, sound bars, or automobiles. In the last few years we have built 4.5, 4.6. 4.7 and now 4.8 star rated products - and are just getting started Join us as we embark on ambitious initiatives that bring together massive scope, and the opportunity to deliver disruptive products with massive global impact.
- Experience leading product management in a partner facing role
- Experience working with Smart TV platforms, consumer devices, streaming media, voice driven A.I. virtual assistants, or related software experiences
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects and competing priorities in an ever changing environment
- Proven track record influence stakeholders without formal authority, leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units
- Ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner, to peers and developers and to senior leaders.
- Excellent customer experience intuition; demonstrated success in creating innovative and user-friendly products and customer-facing features
- Technical fluency; comfortable understanding and discussing technology concepts, schedule tradeoffs and new opportunities with technical team members
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives
- Superior analytical and quantitative skills
- MBA preferred plus several years experience of engineering, product management, or relevant experience
