**About the role**

Crypto at Revolut is scaling fast and global expansion is at the heart of that strategy. Our goal is to build the #1 crypto platform in every market we enter. We have a rapidly growing footprint of 50M+ customers hungry for access to new crypto products and we’re investing heavily in licensing, regulatory readiness, and operational enablement to offer new crypto products across new markets.

As General Manager (Crypto Derivatives), you’ll own the business end-to-end from product architecture and trading infrastructure to commercial strategy, regulatory setup, and operational execution. You’ll take this from zero to scale with a mandate to build one of the most trusted, scalable, and profitable derivatives offerings in the world.

This is a greenfield project inside a rocket ship, with the firepower of a 50M+ customer base, a global brand, and zero legacy baggage. You’ll define the product, shape the infrastructure, lead the team, and set the pace.

**What you'll be doing**
- Owning the full-stack strategy for Revolut’s crypto derivatives business, from product architecture to go-to-market, compliance and beyond
- Leading commercial success and delivering commercial results at speed: revenue, spreads, retention, and user adoption metrics
- Driving roadmap prioritisation for advanced order types, leverage settings, and liquidation mechanics
- Partnering with Engineering and Risk to build scalable real-time P&L, margin, and collateral systems
- Developing best-in-class infrastructure for high-performance, always-on trading
- Navigating regulatory complexity with Legal and Compliance to ensure jurisdictional readiness and licensed scale
- Negotiating with infrastructure partners: venues, clearing providers, risk engines, data sources
- Acting as the public face of our derivatives business - representing Revolut in executive forums, external partner meetings and across the industry
- Scaling the team and culture that delivers all of the above, with clear accountability and relentless execution

**What you'll need**
- 6+ years of experience in derivatives, structured products, trading platforms, crypto or fintech leadership roles
- Commercial mindset with experience owning a business line or P&L
- Proven track record in building or scaling margin, or other leveraged trading products
- Deep understanding of derivatives trading flows, including margin mechanics, liquidations, settlement and risk frameworks
- Proven ability to drive business outcomes through strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and operational excellence
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, and execution drive
- Experience leading complex projects or business units within a regulated or fast-scaling environment
- Exceptional commercial sense, data-driven decision-making skills, and passion for scaling innovative financial products
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across multiple internal and external stakeholders

**Nice to have**
- Experience launching or managing derivatives or margin products across financial markets
- Familiarity with EU financial market and cryptoasset regulations
- Technical literacy in crypto, trading platforms or financial infrastructure
- Background working at exchanges, prime brokers, custody platforms or liquidity venues
