Are you a Financial Accountant looking to join a global organisation with exciting growth plans?

Our client are privately owned growing at a fast rate urgently seeking a Financial Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis, hybrid working.

As the Financial Accountant, you will be part of the team responsible for maintaining the accurate and complete financial records for the Group companies in Spain, the smooth running of the day to day financial routines and supporting the Controller (Spain) with compliance for company and statutory regulations.

Key responsibilities but not limited to as the Financial Accountant:

- Assist with the production of the CFO Month End packs (P&L, BS, CFS, KPIs) for the region.
- Assist with the overseeing and management of the full cycle of accounting, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and review journal entries and financial records.
- Assess and improve existing finance systems, controls and processes. Help to implement new systems where required. Document processes and identify single points of failure.
- Prepare monthly prepayments, accruals, fixed assets, provisions, and other relevant P&L / BS schedules to a high standard and post monthly journals.
- Prepare quarterly VAT reconciliations and submit VAT returns.
- Provide necessary information for year-end audit and corporation tax returns.
- Assist in other ad-hoc projects as requested by the senior finance leaders in order to fulfil the monthly deliverables requirements of the Region and Group finance team.
- Participate in the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasting process, providing analysis and recommendations based on financial data.

Experience, skills and qualifications required as the Financial Accountant:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Other accountancy qualifications (including qualified by experience) considered by exception.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting roles, working on Spanish entities
- Fluent in both English and Spanish
- Experience of working in fast paced environment
- Experience with Sage 50 and Sage 200 (not essential)

Pay: 20,000.00€ - 25,000.00€ per year

- working as a Financial Accountant or similar: 3 years (required)
- working on Spanish entities: 3 years (required)

**Language**:

- Fluent in both English and Spanish (required)
