Funciones

From Temporing we select a Hostess Supervisor for an important international hotel located in Barcelona.

Purpose of Role:
To maximise the restaurant covers and ensure smooth running of the restaurant. To ensure customer satisfaction whilst ensuring the efficiency of the restaurant operations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Meeting, greeting and escorting guests to their tables during service professional and positive attitude.
- Oversee the flow of guests within the restaurant.
- Liaise between the floor, kitchen and hosting teams to maintain a smooth service.
- Maintain ambience of the restaurant - lighting, music etc.
- Proactively oversee guest queries whilst passing on complaints to management.
- Checking and dealing with any guests special requests (birthdays etc.)
- Oversee the return times of tables.
- Seat the restaurant to maximise covers (within the capabilities of the restaurant).
- Assist with training of the reception team.
- Liaise with the reservations team to ensure the smooth running of the restaurant.
- Work in the reservations office from time to time, and work with the Reservations team maintain databases.
- Supervise the area around the reception desk.
- First Class report and daily log.
- Check waiters notes and any special requests.
- Taking calls during service.
- Attend pre service meeting.
- Welcoming and playing host.
- Ensure business cards are given to future regulars and VIP guests.

**Requisitos**:
- A minimum experience of 1 year.
- English and Spanish fluent. Other languages are a plus.
- Previous experience in the luxury industry, hotels, gastronomic restaurants.
