**Missions and purpose**

**- **Main responsibilities**:
Associate directors are directly responsible for meeting the targets for their area:
- School’s presence and image in their region.
- Compliance with expense budgets for their region.
- Completion of specific Departmental projects assigned by the Area Director.
- Establishment and maintenance of contacts with people and companies to be promoted.

To meet those targets, their duties are to:
1. Draw up a comprehensive plan for their region, in consultation with the department director and the deputy of the region.

2. Specifically: define and execute:

- Promotional events:

- Types of events.
- Cities and countries in which events are to be organized.
- Audience at which they are to be targeted.
- Channels to be used to promote them: mailings, advertisements
- Monitor the events database, so that planning is simpler in following years: costs, materials sent, hotel bookings.
- Make best possible use of internal and external databases.
- Admissions processes:
a. Ensure speed of execution:

- Interviews from own and other regions.
- Admissions Committee.
- Have monitoring mechanisms in place to check progress. This will require managing their area in close collaboration with Area Coordinators.

b. Ensure that admission processes adhere to the strictest standards.
- Regularly review the interview scripts and interviewers’ reports to achieve the desired goal

c. Have specific mechanisms in place to improve our yield:
- Coordinate and manage (always in close cooperation with the Admissions Director and Regional Deputy):
a) Media: Set targets for the region and the countries in which greater effort is required, in close collaboration with the Marketing Coordinator and the Communication Department.

b) Advertising: provide insights about what media channels advertisements are to be placed, the types of advertisements, the message and the design to the Corporate Marketing and Communications Department.
- Packages: Associate Directors will work very closely with the Marketing and Communications Department to prepare any specific prospectuses required for promotional purposes in their area, or any type of invitation or special promotional publication.
- New technologies: Work with the Marketing Business Partner to implement any initiative that will improve results in the area. Although some of these activities are general and affect all regions, some specific initiatives may require specific projects, for which Associate Directors will be responsible.

d) Get Area Coordinators fully involved in managing their region, taking steps to maintain a high level of motivation and performance.

e) Take charge of any internal projects outside their area of responsibility that may be assigned to them, acting as project leaders.
- Ability to travel (20 % of work time).
- Organization of promotional events.
- Public speaking and presentation skills (In English).
- Strong interview skills.
- Strong analytical skills
- Organization skills.
- Manage and build relationships with all key people from corporate contacts to alumni.
- Development of commercial plan and strategy.
- Benchmarking and review of trends to influence web design, brochure and all promotional materials.

A graduate degree is required, preferably an MBA from IESE. Fluency in English is required. Previous international experience is very competitive. The person selected for the position will be able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Previous client relation management experience is desired and a commercial disposition is necessary. Communication, interpersonal and team skills are essential. Knowledge of database systems, electronic communication, powerpoint are essential.
