**The SPA Studios, the Award-winning Feature Animation Studio is selecting a talented and experienced CG FX artist for our new feature project. The CG FX artist will work under the creative direction of the FX Supervisor to animate elements in a 3D computer graphics environment in order to compliment the hand drawn FX created by the 2D team.**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Establish the look and process of the film’s CG FX
- Stretch the idea of traditional FX through stylization and graphics
- Creation and regulation of ambient environmental CG FX
- Think outside of the box to provide creative solutions to complex situations
- Communicate with creative leadership and production members for effective tracking and feedback
- Collaborate with 2D FX artists to create a hybrid look and feel
- Animate sprites and particles
- Guide a possible team of additional CG FX artists
- Help feedback on tool and pipeline development through input and testing
- Familiarity with and passion for 2D as well as 3D animation process
- Strong knowledge of Blender
- Additional skills in Harmony, After Effects, Grease Pencil a plus
- Expertise in camera language, character blocking, cinematography, and visual storytelling
- At least 3+ years of relevant industry experience
- Be a great team player with excellent communication skills
- Proven ability to deliver on schedule, working calmly and efficiently under pressure
- Be able to take directions and be willing to address constructive feedback. Also ability to suggest new options and provide solutions
- Familiarity with modelling, surfacing and rigging skills a plus
- Ability to relocate to Madrid, Spain is strongly preferred
- English is a must, as the work will be developed in this language
