What can you expect from JLL Capital Markets?

Sitting within the wider International Capital Markets team at JLL, the Corporate Finance team focuses on advising clients on: M&A transactions, Recapitalisations, JVs, and Strategic Reviews.

This is a vital Director-level role building and running a colleagiate, networked and productive Corporate Finance practice. The role focuses on business generation (major sales, pitches, acquisitions, development funding, JVs and recapitalisations), client engagement, idea generation, communication and global capital knowledge. The role requires close collaboration with the EMEA Equity Advisory, International Capital Markets EMEA and local territory Capital Markets teams to provide seamless client advice.

What does the role entail?

Business Generation & Execution, Clients
Responsible for assisting in winning direct real estate mandates as well as leading to win non-traditional real estate deals (JVs, Recapitalisations, M&A, Funds Placement)
Winning and executing Equity Advisory mandates, driving new business generation alongside territory level Capital Markets teams and EMEA-wide
Lead at project level for Equity Advisory mandates
Broadening JLL EMEA Capital Markets offering through leveraging debt and M&A to embed in our sector offerings wherever relevant for our clients
Managing and building senior client relationships within EMEA Capital Markets
Use relationships and sector insights to generate other income opportunities through cross selling

Idea Generation, Intelligence and Thought Leadership
Work with Equity Advisory, International Capital Markets EMEA and territory level Capital Markets colleagues to create and monetise ideas and opportunities for our clients
Partner with sector research and strategy leads to provide sector direction for appropriate market leading outputs/analysis
Recognise trend and changing market conditions to enable our clients to adapt their strategies to changing environments and capitalise on opportunity, working closely with JLL’s International Capital Coverage team
Contribute to JLL thought leadership, presenting to clients, industry forums and events

Business leadership
Create a platform for growth by improving talent we have and scanning the market for new talent to hire
Drive JLL’s D&I strategy through recruitment and development
Coaching and mentoring to Associates and Analysts, upskilling through on the job training to grow through our next generation talent
Lead contributions for all deals to our Client Relationship Management programmes, to include reviewing and creating investor profiles in our CRM (Salesforce)
