**Your Role**

As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating compelling visual stories that bring The Ocean Race to life across digital platforms. Working within the Communications team, you will collaborate closely with the Lead Video Producer and other key departments to produce high-quality video content for social media, promos, editorial news, and documentaries. This role requires a creative and dynamic professional who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

Video Production & Editing
- Edit projects from brief to final production, ensuring high-quality storytelling.
- Generate original concepts and bring creative ideas to life.
- Produce engaging video content for various platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Adapt and repurpose content for different audiences and formats.

Collaboration & Cross-Departmental Work
- Work closely with the Lead Video Producer and Communications team.
- Liaise with sustainability and commercial departments to align content with The Ocean Race's mission.
- Foster a one-team approach within The Ocean Race and its extended family.

Project & Time Management
- Work efficiently under tight deadlines while managing multiple projects.
- Ensure all content aligns with The Ocean Race’s brand identity and storytelling style.

General Support & Event Contribution
- Assist colleagues in the production and success of The Ocean Race event.
- Contribute to sustainability initiatives, reflecting The Ocean Race’s commitment to ocean conservation.

**Minimum requirements**:

- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, and other Adobe Creative Suite software.
- Experience in professional media production or television is desirable.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written); knowledge of French is a plus.
- Understanding of social media video formats and best practices.
- A strong sense of storytelling, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with sailing or sports content is an advantage but not essential.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to relocate to Alicante, Spain.
- EU national or ability to obtain necessary EU working permits.
