**Job Purpose**

The Head Information Security is accountable for ensuring the proper information security management system is in place and for reducing the risk related to information security to a level accepted by the organization. He/she will hold the role of Chief Information Security Officer.

**Main Accountabilities**
- Ensure the information of the organization is reliable and accessible by the people that need to access it based in their roles and responsibilities.
- Provide overall technical leadership and governance across the organization for all aspects of information security.
- Lead the information security office team and define and overview all their activities and processes.
- Engage and collaborate with relevant stakeholders across the department and the organization.
- Keep up to date on technology and security trends and news.
- Provide support and guidance to his colleagues, the IT Director and the Management Committee on information security matters.
- Facilitate PCI and GDPR compliance.
- Ensure the organization is best-suited to endure a cyberattack.
- Responsible for the organization’s Business Continuity Plans.
- Responsible for the business impact assessment and information security risk management processes.
- Responsible for the internal and external IT audits support.
- Ensure the proper information security policies and standards are in place to comply with PCI, GDPR, IAG security baseline, and in general, the best practices and principles in cybersecurity.
- Cybersecurity Manager for the CNPIC (Centro Nacional de Protección de Infraestructuras Críticas) relation and the critical infrastructure Spanish law compliance.
- Manage the budget for Information Security.

**Education**
- Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science or similar degree) and higher education (MBA) or equivalent professional experience.
**Experience**
- Experience in the definition of information security policies in a large corporation.
- Knowledge of a wide range of technologies, including data centers, cloud technologies and web-based technologies.
- Strong background in all aspects of IT and information security.
- Experience in the identification, selection and management of suppliers.

**Competencies**
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to lead, encourage and influence staff across the organization, decision-making and priority identification.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

**Languages**

Fluent in English and Spanish.
**Other**

Information security certification (CISSP, CISM or similar).
