Based in Seville, Spain, the Technical Sales Support Specialist is responsible for providing sales support to customers and partners in the EMEA region as well as the sales team located both in Spain and in Vermont, USA (headquarters).
The Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for building professional proposals for NRG Systems customers and partners in EMEA in coordination with various members of the global sales team. This includes entering orders into the CRM and ERP Systems, tracking orders until delivery to the end destination, and ensuring total customer satisfaction. There will be interaction with project management, operations, technical support, and engineering as part of the order coordination process.
As a member of the Sales Department, the Technical Sales Support Specialist will report directly to the Global Sales Support Manager, based in USA and work closely with the sales team in Spain.
**Sales Support Functions**:
Build technical and commercial technical proposals in a professional manner
This position will work closely with the Global Sales Support Coordinator as a team supporting Territory Managers and Sales Account Managers in EMEA:
Building and Tracking Opportunities, Quotations, and Order confirmations
Working with Product Management team to ensure profitability of products and proposals
Coordinating with Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Logistics to ensure successful order deliveries
Tracking invoicing and payments
Supporting forecast, reports and other internal tasks
Understanding final sales proposals and translating into orders
**Project follow up on all levels**: engineering, supply, manufacturing, logistics, finance, etc.
Order confirmations adapting to engineering works and project needs
Develop custom made solutions in coordination with product management team
**Coordinate with Project Managers, Customers and Partners**:
Installation/services costs and third-party supplies
Logistics of NRG Solutions to site
Installation of SRM Systems by subcontractors
Technical support to installation partners and customers
Support coordinating international RFQs and Tenders
Implement and follow sales procedures in coordination with Sales and Sales support team in USA
Support Global Key Account efforts in coordination with different Territory and Account managers
Support after-sales processes to ensure customer satisfaction
Collect market feedback/intelligence and coordinate potential actions and product improvements with sales and product management teams.
Travel occasionally to assist with customer introductions and to support sales team at conferences, seminars and tradeshows to reach potential customers.
Work closely with the Sales Team to plan and implement business initiatives, procedures, guidelines, and policies that promote and drive sales for the company.

**Qualifications**:
Technical degree with a preference of Bachelor Degree in Engineering, plus at least 2 years applicable experience, preferably in sales support, pre-sales or similar position.
Direct experience in the renewable energy industry with knowledge in one or more areas of expertise: wind and/or solar power, production and operations & maintenance, hardware and software in the solar space.
Demonstrated entrepreneurial ability to take initiative and support sales
Ability to build technical and commercial proposals effectively, securing submissions on time
Adept and astute ability to communicate cross-culturally with various global customers.
Effectively represent products and services
Excellent at problem analysis and proactive resolution
Presentation skills would be desirable
**Language skills**: Advanced Spanish and English skills are mandatory as working environment will be in both languages. Additional languages would be a considerable plus.
**Working Conditions/Physical Requirements**:
Office environment with occasional travel
This is not a remote position, but remote-working in combination with office is welcomed in our company.
