About you and this role
Responsibilities
Students will be assigned meaningful and challenging activities, that will introduce them to the Process Automation Support & Sustain group at Dow, as:
- Troubleshoot process automation and network problems (software and hardware) to resolve process automation system problems.
- Perform predictive and preventative maintenance (PPM) and health checks on operating process automation systems.
- Provide corrective support in response to a process automation system error condition or failure.
- Complete small project work.
Qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or Automation.
- Good communication (written and verbal) in English and Spanish is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point), Microsoft Outlook is also recommended.
