**Main Purpose of the Role**

Reporting to the Linguistic Experts' Manager as Linguistic Experts' Lead, you will manage part of the Localization Testing Linguistic Experts team with the objective to ensure Localization quality meets EA standards for all our Localized contents from start to end.

**Key Responsibilities**
- You will directly manage some of the members of the Linguistic Experts’ team.
- You will support partnerships with other Localization functions beyond LT and will foster an environment where the different functions work as One Team around shared goals and mutual trust.
- You will support the Linguistic Expert’s Manager with workload planning and task management.
- You will always review workflows and tasks to make sure the LE tasks are delivered in the most efficient way.
- You will manage risks and dependencies and will work short and long-term mitigation plans.
- You will contribute to tracking and measurement of productivity indicators.
- You will chase continue self and individuals' development in an evolving industry.
- You will encourage individual initiative, cultivate a creative environment where everyone feels empowered to express their opinions and ideas.
- You will pursue LOC quality standardization across languages throughout the whole Loc portfolio, working in the continuous improvement of quality measurement processes.
- You will contribute to identify business development opportunities and increase the value EA Localization adds to our business.
- You will support the Loc transition towards real-time localization (MT), optimizing its implementation and minimizing its impact on the players' experience.
- You will support new business opportunities in text to speech, automated testing, data analytics
- You will foster an environment where, through transparent communication, care and follow-up, LT workers feel that Loc quality is a priority for Localization and EA and feedback is listened to.

**Key** Experiences / Capabilities**:

- Linguistic Specialized post-secondary degree/diploma (Philology/Translation) or equivalent experience.
- +4 years of experience in Localization.
- +4 years of experience working in a multi-site/cultural team.
- Excellent industry knowledge and software development understanding for localization of videogames, especially of the Localization Testing and Asset Localization areas.
- +6 months direct or dotted-line people management experience required.
- Can work with multiple partners to determine workflows aimed at optimizing quality.
- Understand localization processes and methodologies.
- Creative problem solver. Openness to new ideas
- You will need to handle many tasks simultaneously with special focus on the little details and the quality of the projects.
- You will have to anticipate problems and develop new solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, required to negotiate and influence at all levels of the organization.
