The Retail & Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for developing and executing at a local level (Spain & Portugal) the EMEA Franchise Marketing & Retail strategies across NBCUniversal’s portfolio of Film, TV and Heritage franchises.
Strategically aligning with the EMEA & Iberian franchise objectives, working closely with the Franchise Team in EMEA and also with the Consumer Products Team in Iberia, the role will leverage the richness of NBCUniversal’s entertainment content to build annual and bespoke campaigns, developing/requesting appropriate assets in a timely manner and supporting the local teams to create a sustainable year round franchise business model and one that achieves annual revenue targets for Iberia and EMEA.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Under the supervision of Retail & Marketing Southern Europe Director, the Retail & Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for executing locally and/or develop ad-hoc local brand marketing plans for defined, prioritized franchises, set by the EMEA Franchise & Marketing Team, to ensure relevance and alignment of EMEA and Iberia strategies.
- Build Franchise Activation plans aligned with EMEA Franchise Campaigns, maximizing Global assets & toolkits, and requesting for localized kits in a timely manner where necessary
- Ensure a comprehensive and impactful 360 Marketing and Retail Plan that can bring commercial revenues, build brand awareness and engage licensees, retailers and consumers
- Pitch & manage relationships with the local marketing agencies when required, to ensure defined elements of regional & local brand marketing plans are executed in a timely and relevant manner
- Input into regional campaign strategies and launch plans for upcoming TV and film properties
- Be the local Iberian liaison and point of contact for Franchise/Retail Teams across EMEA & regional for Franchise marketing activation
- Drive marketing communication between Regional and Local
- Collate local activation plans to feed into regional Franchise & Marketing EMEA
- Lead local social strategy in conjunction with EMEA Regional guidelines
- Partner with local Iberian licensees and retailers to ensure involvement in brand marketing campaigns where relevant
- Responsible for all regional marketing approvals liaising at an EMEA level at key defined stages
- Provide input and support to the local retail team to maximize reach of retail campaigns
**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Brand management experience essential and within a licensing/entertainment/retail environments preferredExperience in digital & e-commerce would be appreciated
- Proven track record of building brands in a commercial environment including social and digital marketing execution
- Strong understanding of brand and property positioning, and marketing to kids / families, and the impact of marketing activities in driving retail sales
- Strategic and creative thinker
- Ability to thrive in a start-up environment
- Flexible/ability to adjust to a fast paced and ever-changing business environment
- Excellent communication & presentation skills
- Able to diplomatically work with and influence third parties, both internal and external

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Educated to degree level
- A minimum of 1 year working experience in Marketing/Promotions departments/Trade Marketing
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
- High level in English. A third language (French, Italian) would be appreciated.
- Good knowledge of digital & social media platforms
