Accounts Payable Accountant

**Eurovision Services Madrid is recruiting a Accounts Payable Accountant to join the Finance department team in Madrid, Spain.**

**PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION**

In this role as AP Accountant, you will:

- Manage the processing of vendor invoices, including vendor creation, vendor maintenance, purchase orders tracking, accounting entries, on time approvals and payments.
- Manage the supplier database in the ERP system and the bank details, ensuring data accuracy.
- Ensure that finance internal controls are performed for supplier invoices.
- Answer any internal or external requests in relation with supplier invoices.
- Reconcile accounts payable and General Ledger (GL) accounts/modules.
- Monitor and reconcile transitory accounts for suppliers or personnel.
- Record all accounting transactions in relation to international VAT.
- Manage the processing of employee expenses reports, including compliance with internal policies validation, on time approvals and payments.
- Manage contracts in the corporate contract database.

**YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- At least 2 years of broad-based financial experience.
- Some experience with Dynamics 365 (NAV) or AX.
- Some experience with process automation.
- Some relevant experience implementing new ERP systems and migrations.
- Strong collaboration, influencing and communication skills.
- The ability to interact with ease, confidence and credibility at all levels.
- A proactive approach and the ability to build consensus.
- Strong business acumen, including negotiation skills.
- The ability to adapt to and drive changing demands and conditions.
- Experience in managing a small team.
- A flexible can-do attitude and the ability to work independently with limited supervision.

**ADDED VALUE**

Additional experience in the following areas would be a bonus:

- Experience or knowledge in the broadcast industry
- Experience working collaboratively with geographically distributed and international teams (our headquarters are located in Switzerland).
- French is a plus.
