WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a key member of the Support Office Team within the Security Department based in our Office in Barcelona, you will play a vital role in fostering a strong health and safety culture across all areas of our business in Spain. Your mission is to uphold H&M Group’s high standards while ensuring full compliance with Spanish health and safety laws and regulations.
By educating colleagues, supporting operations and working on projects, you help create a safe and secure environment where both employees and customers feel protected. Your efforts directly contribute to reducing accidents and safety-related incidents—ultimately supporting profitability and operational excellence throughout our Spanish region.
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with a wide range of stakeholders such as:
- Store Managers and Retail Teams - to ensure safety standards are implemented effectively on the ground.
- External Partners and Authorities - including local health and safety regulators and service providers, ensuring compliance with Spanish legislation.
- Security Team in the Market - to align safety strategies, collaboration, sharing best practices and working in projects.
- Regional and Global Security Teams - to align with H&M Group’s broader safety strategies, sharing best practices and working in projects.
WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for people with...
- 5+ years in Health & Safety roles, with deep knowledge of legislation and regulatory compliance.
- A degree in Occupational Health & Safety
- Ability to train and communicate effectively across teams and to develop and implement safety strategies, ensuring policies are current, communicated, and legally compliant.
- Analytical approach: Skilled in conducting risk assessments, tracking KPIs, and engaging stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
