**Who are we? IPS** is an international company with inhouse Engineering and specialized services across Project Management for industries, Automation and Architecture. EPCM expertise, more than 10 countries around the globe but an entrepreneurial and teambuilding mindset.

Now, we are looking for a Sustainable Energy engineer in our office in Madrid, Spain.

Energy Engineer will develop the group IPS process and sustainability services while contributing to projects related to sustainable initiatives, energy audits and assessment in industrial environments.

**What is the role About?**

As a Energy engineer, you will develop:

- Industrial projects assessment to optimize energy consumption, define alternative technologies and energies to facilitate transition to become Carbon neutral.
- Working in Commercial development for projects around the following areas:

- Energy efficiency in industry, waste-to-energy solutions,
- Auto-consumption based on renewable energy.
- Carbon footprint calculation and reduction.
- Assessment on Carbon capture, utilisation, and storage (CCUS) technologies.
- Knowledge in industrial Emissions measurement.
- Energy decarbonization roadmap.
- Economic analysis of projects.
- Knowledge in Wastewater management and recommendations is a plus.
- Hydrogen Economy focus or experience is a plus.

**Requirements**:

- Min 5 years of experience in sustainable energy and energy efficiency in industrial environments, ideally dealing with Engineers profiles:

- Energy performance evaluation.
- Experience in Thermal and Electrical utilities and equipment (HVAC, geothermal pumps, boilers, generators).
- Switch from Fossil Fuel to industrial electrification as an example of project/ improvement of steam and hot water generation/ reuse of waste heat flow (reutilización flujos de calor gastado)
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering related to Sustainability Technologies
- Energies or Industrial Engineering with this specialization.
- Knowledge in thermal and electricity equipment and utilities.
- Experience in Energy efficiency solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with English and Spanish, French as a plus.
- Travel flexibility and availability.
- Knowledge in energy management standards. ISO 50001
- License B
