IT Infrastructure Team Manager

We are looking for a Team Manager, IT Infrastructure. The IT Infrastructure Manager leads the design, development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of Grifols IT infrastructure
platforms. Provides technical guidance and leadership to project teams and staff in evaluating infrastructure suitability, capabilities, and options. Develops and participates in processes supporting the development, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of software and/or hardware platforms to ensure infrastructure performance and availability. Actively investigates emerging methods and technologies and advises management in the development of IT infrastructure strategic and operational plans.

**What your responsibilities will be**

You will have the opportunity to:

- Design of Data Centers, IT Rooms & IDFs.
- Implementation of infrastructures associated with critical environments such as Racks, UPS, PDU, ATS, structured cabling.
- Deployment of the DCIM platform at Grifols Sites.
- Build and enable a team who establish effective and trusting working relationships with all of their business and IT partners.
- Establish and manage effective working relationships with external service providers supporting areas of responsibility; supervises contractor teams.
- Contribute to planning the evolution of the enterprise architecture to ensure the alignment of future information technology concepts and capabilities with the client#s expectations.
- Proactively identify project risks and issues; help determine necessary escalation, mitigation, and resolution steps.
- Create, review, update, and approve required documentation for changes and projects as appropriate in accordance with IT Methodology.
- Advise Infrastructure team members in complying with the defined procedures, tools, and methodology to be used in each project.
- Oversee adoption management of new systems, functions, and technologies, including the development and delivery of end user training as needed.
- Lead infrastructure support staff in the planning of projects of varying size and complexity, advising in areas of specific expertise.
- Manage and performs the modification and installation of systems and oversee system infrastructure components deployment through post go-live support phase.
- Manage and monitor a queue of issues and changes for team to ensure timely resolution; ensures stakeholders are updated regularly on progress.
- Lead the development of ongoing user education programs and may deliver technical training of IT staff in areas of responsibility.
- Consult with IT peers and immediate team in developing business cases for critical technology projects.
- Engage with IT teams globally to create and implement strategic solutions leveraging internal capabilities and external service provider support to achieve business objectives.

**Who you are**
- You preferably have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Teleccommunications.
- You speak advanced level in English.
- You have a high knowledge of Data Centers as well as their infrastructures (energy, air conditioning, structured cabling, security, racks...).
- You have extensive experience in design, refurnishment and deployment of Data Centers & IT Rooms.
- You have knowledge of DCIM platforms, mainly EcoStruxuware & PowerIQ.
- You have been working with MS Office tools (word, excel...), especially in MS Visio and Autocad.
- You have good self-management capacity and high internal demands to develop quality and efficient work.
