**About you**

We're looking for a Product Manager, Machine Learning to join our R&D team and collaborate with our machine learning engineers, data scientists and cardiologists and external collaborators (academic researchers / medical device and pharmaceutical companies) to deliver our strategic research projects. Your focus will be on defining requirements and developing new machine learning models from ECG and clinical data to screen for cardiovascular diseases and optimize drug development and delivery strategies.

**What you’ll do**:

- Lead external R&D projects interacting with our industry partners to better understand the business problem, cardiovascular disease mechanisms, create solutions for the research hypothesis of our clients and on how to leverage AI to solve challenges
- Develop internal R&D projects to advance core scientific and machine learning methodologies, focusing on the development of methods leveraging ECG patient data to improve the breadth and accuracy of diagnosis
- Own all aspects of the product life cycle from inception to full production, including researching and interviewing customers/partners, defining requirements, establishing development and production timelines and managing the overall algorithm pipeline.
- Work in collaboration with other departments to support marketing, business development and communications activities
- Partner cross functionally with engineers and data scientists to drive implementation of our solutions
- Conduct product explorations to help define the next generation of the model development platform at PathAI and continuously working with the newest state of the art, keeping us one step ahead

**Requirements**:

- Relevant education in statistics/mathematics and 5-7 years of relevant software and AI product management experience
- Deep understanding of machine learning and deep learning methods, Python and relevant machine learning tools and libraries
- Experience with building production level machine learning pipelines
- Full fluency in English and Spanish is required
- Great communication skills and the ability to communicate complex scientific topics to a general audience
- International and entrepreneurial mindset and ability to cooperate with diverse cultures and nationalities
- Preferred: Prior healthcare experience desired, but not required
- Preferred: PhD level / Masters with 1-2 years of experience with experience in leading a complex research project
- A plus: Previous experience in signal processing and ECG signals is a plus
