We are looking for a Product Security Engineer to join our team and lead quality testing in embedded medical devices, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of safety and performance.

**Your tasks**:

- Provide security support and leadership to the product engineering team.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to perform regular product security assessments and threat modelling.
- Design and implement tools to automate and scale security processes.
- Review and approve security-related formal documentation of the products developed by the company.
- Ensure compliance with relevant security regulations and industry standards.
- Support spreading awareness on security within the engineering landscape.

**Requirements**:

- Familiarity with software development for cloud infrastructure and/or embedded systems.
- Ability to lead people to problem resolution when it comes to security.
- Deep knowledge of: V-model software development approach, Cybersecurity regulatory landscape for medical devices: FDA guidance’s (pre-market, post-market, section 524B of FD&C act), MDCG 2019-16, IEC 81001-5-1
- SLDC: secure development life cycle
- Threat modeling techniques
- Security risk assessment evaluations
- State of the art hardening techniques
- Penetration tests evaluations
- Vulnerability management

**Desired requirements**:

- Understanding of DevSecOps operations: Supply chain security Use of SAST, DAST and SCA tools.
- Knowledge of the following security regulations: IEC 62443, ANSI/AAMI SW96:2023, IEC 60601-4-5, UL 2900-1, UL 2900-2-1.
- Knowledge of the following quality management system regulations: ISO 13485, ISO 9001.

**Skills**:

- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, and superior follow-up and follow-through skills
- Advanced English level
- Good level of German is a plus
- Analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and adaptability.
- Proactive attitude, self-motivated.
- Self-directed and able to tackle new projects and ideas.

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or similar fields.
- Master’s degree in Cybersecurity or a related area.
