We are currently recruiting for a Store Maintenance Technician to sit in the Maintenance Department in Spain. The role will be based in Barcelona, with some travel required. You will be reporting to the Facilities Manager, with direct contact into the COO, working closely with store operations, loss & prevention, and external contractors.

We are looking for a hands-on and dynamic Maintenance Technician to supervise the general maintenance of our 6 stores in Spain.The role of the Store Maintenance Technician is to assist the Facilities Manager to guarantee the quality of service of our stores. The mission is to serve the stores and ensure the maximum performance of our facilities for the safety of our customers and staff.

**What you will be responsible for**
- Complete all service-related reports and submit them on Service Channel, our online facilities platform
- Building and developing relationships with both our store operations and store support centre teams
- Ensuring the prioritisation of store maintenance requests and managing expectations
- Carrying out maintenance/repairs/installations of store facilities and conducting regular safety checks, reporting any defects or issues that could be considered dangerous to the Facilities Manager
- Managing external contractors - (control office, maintenance company, air conditioning, etc.)
- Training store teams on basic procedures and system operations
- Managing tenders/contract negotiation in order to generate cost savings
- Conducting tasks such as painting, screwing, small carpentry, ect.

Experience
- Holding of a technical training Bac / Bac +2 minimum
- 3 plus years' experience in general maintenance (including decorating, carpentry...) within a fast-paced environment (retail, service, hospitality...)
- Strong understanding of electrical systems with the ability to read and interpret electrical wiring drawings/diagrams. Air conditioning skills would also be desirable

**Skills**:

- Fluent in Spanish and English
- French would be desirable
- Strong time management skills
- Basic mechanical skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships with store managers and their teams
- Confident in using digital/mobile tools and online platforms
- Comfortable working towards defined Service Level Agreements (SLA's) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
- Strong time management skills
