HR Business Partner

**About the role**

As a HR Business Partner you will make an impact by serving as the primary point of contact for respective managers in the Spain & Italy cluster. In this capacity, you will contribute to the development and execution of the strategic HR plan and act as a sponsor for key strategic HR initiatives and pillars. You will be a valued member of the HR team and work collaboratively with the pilar leads and senior stakeholder.

**In this role, you will**:
Support leaders for them to deliver the business objectives expected by the company. Providing clarity of roles and responsibilities, goals and expectations, skill building and development, productivity enhancement - through both people and structure focused interventions.
- Implement talent management and engagement strategies and procedures, aimed at maintaining a productive work environment.
- Contribute to multiple HR projects, improving our operational efficiency, enhancing employee experience and strengthening compliance.
- Provides guidance to managers on personnel matters: employee engagement, compliance, staffing levels, development and compensation
- Implement HR policies/processes and drive HR projects: The HRBP will be required to deploy HR global policies in alignment with the overall HR strategy and aligned with the local framework.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2/3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Barcelona. **What you need to have to be considered**
- Previous experience in an HBP role
- Fluency in English, first language at work
- Results and Customer Orientations, hands-on approach with the ability to deal simultaneously with multiple projects/business units/cases to manage.
- Influencing: Demonstrated ability to actively engage the wider team.
- Change management: across the business, identifying potential points of resistance and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns
- Ownership: takes an active role in ensuring the results and completion
- Team player: collaborates as one HR team and one company
- Proactiveness and autonomy: The individual must be a “doer” with a high level of initiative and drive, method and strong priority management, and the maturity and credibility to lead initiatives in HR sub-functions.

**These will help you stand out**
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources management or similar.
- 2-4 + years HRBP role in an international company -large complex organisation(s) with multiple stakeholders (including matrix relationships and work with HR shared services).
- Experience working with teams offshore or on multilocation shared services model.
- Experience in the IT industry or Services companies will be a plus.
- Labor law expertise / labor law qualification will be a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Italian language
