We're looking for an **Employment Counsel** to join our Legal Team and help build working with an increasing demand of requests based on international employment topics.

**You will**:

- Join a small but mighty, highly collaborative, and supportive legal team
- Provide day-to-day advice to the People and Talent Acquisition teams on a broad range of employment issues, including terminations, relocation and migration, recruitment, compliance and benefits, and strategic initiatives
- Review, draft, and negotiate employment related agreements, including confidentiality, IP rights, non-solicitation, non-competition, and independent contractor and recruitment agreements
- Supervise and work closely with Employer of Record (EOR) and outside counsel and advisers to identify and minimize business risks and to achieve strategic objectives
- Help build and implement scalable, compliant, and efficient employment policies and processes that balance legal risk with business impact
- Track global developments in evolving laws and regulations, keeping current on industry-wide employment trends and developments

**You should have**:

- Law degree from an accredited European or US law school
- 3+ years of in-house or law firm experience with a focus on employment-related matters
- Experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating employment and service agreements and non-disclosure agreements
- Basic knowledge of US/UK legal concepts and the GDPR
- Adaptability, flexibility, and capability of handling multiple cases at the same time, providing practical, compliant solutions
- Ability to successfully interact with a wide variety of internal clients
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

**It will be considered an advantage if you had**:

- In-house experience with early-stage scale-ups or international corporations
- Experience in onboarding/offboarding people in multiple jurisdictions and various forms of engagement (EOR, contractors, direct employment)
- Experience with EOR and/or international hiring and employment
