**Job Description**:
Your time is spent across 3 main areas: global marketing projects, product marketing and content marketing. Some duties may overlap, and the proportion of time spent across these areas may fluctuate throughout the year.
You will also be responsible for managing the team who will help support projects across the Global Marketing remit.
**Global Marketing Projects**
Global marketing projects span across a range of areas. The focus will be around global campaigns, but may also include supporting other related activities which cover multiple channels and markets; managing the scope and deliverables.
Own the briefing and kick off process for global project initiatives, gathering together stakeholder requirements and understanding channel limitations.
Oversee the production of deliverables, carefully monitoring scope and timelines agreed by all parties.
Seek feedback and signoff on concepts / designs and ensure the accuracy of detail before assets are published.
Manage priorities to limit pressure on channels or regional marketing teams. This may mean delaying some projects to ensure each project is worked on with care.
Ensure assets are on brand - helping the Head of Design and Content Marketing to manage and enforce the brand. Evolve brand assets in line with the global marketing strategy. Manage and maintain Brandfolder - our asset management library. Ensure this is kept up to date, manage templates for the regional marketing team to use and work with Kaplan Inc on any requirements.
In an eeffort to centralise support for the business, and using your skills to get your head around new to “make them happen”, you may also be a point of contact for new business initiatives across the company. This may be to take on and run a project from start to finish, or simply be the point of contact to guide stakeholders to the right area within marketing.
- Support new projects that don’t sit with a particular region or channel.
- Work with the academic/schools and sales operations teams to deliver marketing collateral.
- Uphold an excellent level of internal customer support, ensuring the business has a reliable contact in the department to vet and direct requests.
- Ensure the business is aware of any large / global project updates by managing the global marketing hub and newsletter, monthly.
**Product Marketing & Fact Files**
Helping with the launch of new products and the merchandising of existing, you will gather requirements from the business to inform the marketing team of what is required.
- Be the central contact worldwide for product related marketing support.
- Update any existing collateral related to the promotion of our products across the website and offline material. This includes, but is not limited to, courses, accommodation andsupplements.
- Help launch any new products, following processes and our product matrix to gatherrequired information and providing to relevant teams to get live.
- Manage and maintain all product and school fact files. Work with stakeholders to ensurethese are updated throughout the year and ensure the accuracy of the content. Publish these to relevant locations including Brandfolder, SharePoint and the website.
**Content Marketing**
You will be responsible for global content marketing: blog, campaigns, social, website, etc. providing strategic direction to all global accounts
- Working across all content marketing channels, you will work with stakeholders within the teams to set and monitor the content marketing strategy, setting KPIs and reporting on the results.
- You will be responsible for the management of the global “English” blog and provide content than supports the rest of the language blogs for all the brands, commissioning articles and content pieces and ensuring they are shared and promoted.
- The integrity of the blog will be your responsibility. Working with the web team, you will ensure that it is functional and any technical issues are resolved. You will ensure the regional marketing team are creating content that is on-brand and in-line with the global strategy.
