Application Security Engineer, Amazon Application

BA/BS in computer science, information security, related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Several years of hands on experience with at least three of the following: threat modeling experience, secure coding, identity management and authentication, software development, cryptography, penetration testing, cloud security, mobile security, and network security.
- Ability to think creatively about potential problems and propose creative solutions.
- Experience with customer facing roles and providing support.
- Ability to work independently and comfortably in a fast-paced environment.

Key job responsibilities

- Secure architecture design
- Threat modeling
- Projects and research work as needed
- Security training and outreach to internal development teams
- Security guidance documentation
- Security metrics delivery and improvements
- Assistance with recruiting activities
