Senior QA Engineer

We are looking for a **Senior QA Engineer** to work on a project in the renewable energy industry.

You will be part of a distributed team developing new technologies to solve real business problems. Our client is changing how businesses and consumers use energy for the better, helping achieve a greener and more sustainable energy system that works better for everyone.

We are looking for someone with good communication skills, ideally with experience making decisions, being proactive, used to building software from scratch, and with good attention to detail.

**What you will do**:

- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Developers to ensure user stories are well-defined and have clear acceptance criteria in Jira.
- Execute manual system and system integration tests to validate new features against requirements and quality standards.
- Conduct thorough software change verification testing, including analysis and reporting of test results.
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover potential issues and edge cases.
- Design and meticulously document functional test cases.
- Create, maintain, and enhance manual test suites to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Develop and manage test cases within TestRail.
- Execute manual regression testing for new releases, ensuring stability and functionality.
- Actively participate in and support various testing activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Adapt and perform any other duties as required to meet project and team goals.

**What you will bring**:

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in manual software testing.
- Proficiency in SQL development and working with Oracle databases.
- Proven experience using Jira, TestRail, and Postman for test management and API testing.
- Solid understanding of AWS file processing and related services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with automation tools and frameworks.

**Nice to have**:

- Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement is beneficial.
